 | PamGene wins Deloitte & Touche Rising Star Award | | | Amsterdam, 17 Sep 2002 - PamGene wins the Rising Star Award for most promising Dutch technology company. The Rising Star is part of the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 50, organised with ING-bank and Euronext and recognizes companies with the potency to reach the Fast 50 soon. Tim Kievits, CEO of PamGene, received the price from Ben Tiggelaar, member of the jury and well-known writer and speaker on strategic technology issues. Tiggelaar specifically mentioned the quality of the management team and the wide range of possible applications with PamGenes technology. "PamGene is rapidly developing from a research organisation into a product-organisation. Being a Rising Star gives us confidence and is a clear indication that we are on the right track", said Tim Kievits in his reaction. The Netherlands Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 50 program was created to recognize the phenomenal contributions of fast growing technology companies that are thinking fast... and leading by example. The Dutch Technology Fast 50 recognizes and celebrates the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the Netherlands, based on percentage revenue growth over a three-year period. Technology Fast 50 winners distinguish their companies and their employees as leading examples of innovation, teamwork, perseverance, courage and vision. In technology, the pace of change gets faster every year. The Rising Star category was introduced to recognize technology companies that are quickly making a name for themselves. They have met the same criteria as the Fast 50, except they have been in business a minimum of one year, but less than three years. Rising Stars are expected on the Fast 50 very soon. The winners of this year's Rising Star Award are, besides PamGene, Fredhopper and Primagen Holding B.V.
