| What is the process flow of the biomarker discovery work? |
|
PamGene’s biomarker discovery and development process is enabled by its powerful PamStations and the in-house developed Bionavigator 4 software analysis technology.
Initially cell lines are used in pre-clinical biomarker development. Translational studies combine PamGene’s test information from cell line and patient samples. Finally, in clinical studies, the kinases are extracted directly from the patient’s sample and tested. Most of this work is a result of a tri-partite collaborative project: PamGene with an academic cancer center and an industrial partner. PamGene is experienced in patent protection of our protein kinase drug interaction biomarkers. We already have a set of biomarker patent applications and work with our partners to secure these. |
